Infant Oral Mutilation Campaign in Machakos
It’s sad that after screening grade 1,2 and Preschool in one of the schools in Machakos MORE THAN 50 children had missing teeth, crooked teeth and/or other complications as a result of #InfantOralMutilation #IOM.
This practice needs multi-sectoral approach to muzzle. We had an opportunity to educate parents and also the #IOM perpetrators

I am a nurse officer working in kikule dispensary, masinga subcounty, machakos county and currently , studying in AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY, i am interested in taking up a research on knowledge levels among women and its contribution in ending infant oral mutilation
